The Task: Visualizing the Assembly Clearly
SOLTOP was looking for a way to explain the assembly of the Duraklick GR 10°L in a clear and easy-to-understand manner. The material needed to be suitable for training and internal knowledge sharing while also providing support for customer projects.
It was particularly important to communicate technical details and individual assembly steps clearly, as these can be difficult to illustrate using photographs or conventional footage. The assembly on a green flat roof of an industrial building was to be shown as realistically as possible, reflecting the typical application area of the system.

Solution: Making Photovoltaic Assembly Easy to Understand in 3D
With a technical 3D animation, the desired assembly steps could be presented precisely and clearly, independent of a real filming location. The Duraklick GR 10°L system was visualized on a green flat roof of an industrial building and assembled step by step. This also makes it possible to show details that would be difficult to see in conventional video footage. The realistic depiction of the components and their movements creates a direct connection to the actual assembly and makes the video versatile for both training and customer projects.

Realistic Visualization of Technical Details in 3D
During the production, particular attention was paid to a central assembly step of the photovoltaic mounting system. The click-in connection of the module support into the U-profile was to be shown not just schematically, but as realistically as possible. For this purpose, the movement sequence was recreated in detail in 3D, taking into account the pressure applied by the foot of an employee. This makes it clear how the components are connected and what movement is required for the assembly.
Especially with technical products, 3D animation makes it possible to show such details clearly and unambiguously from different perspectives.
